Striking late Georgian coloured etching – the ‘Yorkshire Hero’ fighting cock. ‘The winner of twenty seven battles!!!’. Produced in 1823 by R Pollard & Sons, Holloway, London. Framed and glazed.
Print in overall good condition – nice bright colours. Small area of discolouration to lower edge. Original period frame, back panel has been repaired/replaced.
Measures 36cm square.
