Description
Fabulous antique metal deed box with exquisite paper lining. The name on the box reads ‘ Harriet Anne Catherine Boyd – Spinster ‘. The remainder of the writing is indistinguishable. It has the original steel key and working lock.
In good overall condition with surface wear and ageing. There is a small dent to lower right corner, but the box remains structurally sound and totally usable. It has been left in untouched condition as found, but could be waxed or polished as required.
Measures 30cm x 20cm x 17cm.
